Churches (126) : St Chad, Wishaw

The parish church of St Chad in Wishaw, Warwickshire dates from at least the 13th century, the North arcade is of this vintage. The South arcade and chancel are 14th century additions. The West tower is a more recent addition still, being added in 17th century, no trace of any earlier tower has been found. The arcades were remodelled in the 15th century, probably due to the addition of a clerestory.

The church is built from red sandstone ashlar. The church was restored in 1886-7.
