Merry Christmas

It is that time again, Christmas day. Season's greetings to all visitors whatever you believe. I did go for my traditional Christmas day morning walk but didn't really see anything worth photographing. Instead i took a photo of my windsock, which did not come through the recent storm entirely unscathed but is hanging (limply) today.

Merry christmas nadolig llawen

Merry christmas nadolig llawen to you all. I went for my traditional Christmas morning walk around the adjacent business park and canal. It would be nice to have somewhere more scenic to walk one day, maybe next year!

Merry Christmas

So, this is Christmas (again). The second Christmas of the pandemic, let's hope there isn't a three-peat. I went for my usual local walk on Christmas morning, i wished these geese a Merry Christmas and to you all as well.

Christmas 2020

We reach another Christmas, after a year no one could have predicted this time last year! At least the weather is fine today, quite what 2021 holds for us all is hard to predict (and to honest it is probably a good idea not to try and predict!) A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of this's blog's visitors.

Christmas morning

Merry Christmas to all of our blog visitors. I hope you had some nice presents, i got a new clicky keyboard which i am testing out by typing this blog post! I've also got a lot of new books to read (as usual). My pile of unread detective novels is nearly as high as the desk they are stacked next to!

I also received a Rupert annual which is traditional, i think i have had one every Christmas for as long as i can remember. Alas the other present tradition, a pack of blank VHS video tapes has long since passed.

Seasons greetings

I present this lego sculpture of Noddy Holder at Birmingham New Street. My warmest memories of Christmas are from the 1970s, before everything went a bit dark. I still have the tree we used to use in the 1970s, bought from Woolworths in about 1974 I believe. The tinsel will never go off.
