Review of 2018 : May

As with last year May was a bit month packed with rail adventures. At the start of the month I returned to Guildford and sunny Surrey which included a walk along the Wey & Godalming Navigation and a trip to Brooklands Museum, and plenty of train travel of course in Surrey and Reading.

Later on was a trip to Kenilworth, a long awaited visit to the brilliant tram museum in Crich and a walk along the Grand Union Canal in Lapworth.

Then at the end of the month were two diesel galas, the SVR Diesel Gala and the EVR's Multiple Memories which are both highlights of my calendar. Just in case May didn't have quite enough going on I also visited Tutbury & Hatton.

Song of the month was "trapeze artist regrets" by Night Drive.
